1. High temperature resistance: graphite rod is one of the known high temperature resistant materials, with melting point of 3850 ℃ ± 50 ℃, boiling point of 4250 ℃; under 7000 ℃ ultra-high temperature arc, the loss of graphite is small, which is only 0.8% of the total weight in 10 seconds. Therefore, the high temperature resistance of graphite is very prominent.
2. Heat resistance and shock resistance: graphite has good thermal shock resistance. When the temperature changes suddenly, there will be no crack due to the small coefficient of thermal expansion.
3. Thermal conductivity and conductivity: graphite has good thermal conductivity and conductivity. Compared with ordinary materials, graphite has high thermal conductivity and conductivity, which is four times higher than stainless steel, twice higher than carbon steel and 100 times higher than metal aluminum.
4. Lubricant: the lubrication performance of graphite is similar to MoS2, and the friction coefficient is less than 0.1. The lubrication performance of graphite sheet varies with the size of graphite sheet. The bigger the sheet, the smaller the coefficient, the better the lubrication performance.
